Dark themes find an ideal vessel in the sparse beats and doleful strings of this first cut from the Canadian duo's debut. They join the previously announced Philip K. Childhood's End is a story of the progress of humanity over a period of about 200 years. Montreal-based musician Devon Welsh, who goes by Majical Cloudz, has announced his debut full-length record Impersonator, which is due out May 27 via Matador.
